Timer Settings

Does anyone else have a problem with getting the timer settings to work.

I always select Timer-setting two, kick a player if he was inactive during his turn, but this does the same thing as setting one. I.E. it kicks the player when the clock expires, regardless of whether or not he was active. Setting three does the same thing.

Is there a way, to get the settings to do what their name suggests. What I would really like, is that when the clock expires, if a player was active during his turn, he is not thrown out of the game.

Ben, option one & two are somewhat similar but they are not the same.

Anyway you need to be a paid up member to use these extra options.

If you are not a paid up member then you will have to click the finish button or else you will be dead.

Even if you select the "finish turn of player" option you will still be dead because you are not a member.

Option 1;

Will kick out both paid up members and non paid up members unless they click finish before the timer expires.

Option 2;

Will kick out non paid members unless they click finish before the timer expires. It will also kick out paid up members unless they have been active during their turn.

Option 3;

Will kick out non paid members unless they click finish before the timer expires. Paid members do not have to do anything and when the timer expires it will just pass on to the next player regardless if they click finish or not. If a paid member has been away from computer and using this option the reinforcements that that player should have received get disregarded.
